A Bit About Edward
Edward Faison Jr. has served for more than 34 years as the spokesman for Faison Five LLC, an organization founded with his late wife, Sheila “Burden” Faison, and their four children. Since 1998, Faison Five has helped develop youth and family programs throughout Central Topeka, including after-school programs, sports initiatives, internships, entrepreneurship programs, and community enrichment activities.
With a foundation centered on strengthening families and increasing community self-worth, Mr. Faison continues to serve as a committed advocate for his community.
A native of Topeka, Kansas, he is a graduate of Topeka High School, earned an associate degree from Cowley County Community College, and completed the Building Maintenance program at Kaw Area Technical School, where he was recognized as Student of the Year. He is also a certified CMA/CNA and MHDDT specialist in the neurological field.
